2014 recap...

geez guys, 2014 is over.
it has been a pretty dang good year though, and i haven't written about annnny of it.

since the last time i wrote, i went to WA, ran two half marathons and the dirty dash, went on 2 trips to lake powell, went on my first canyoneering trip, GOT ENGAGED, went knee boarding for the first time, planned a wedding, went to san francisco for a weekend with matt to visit my sister, moved, GOT MARRIED, had an open house in WA over thanksgiving, had my first christmas with matt, and i am currently writing from san diego....where it's cold and raining. 

it has been a great year.

matt came to my new year's eve party last year and i couldn't remember his name, now we've been married almost 3 months. my oh my how things change. i have so much to be thankful for as this year comes to a close. i've experienced such an outpouring of love, support, and care from all my family and friends and now my family in-law that i've joined. i'm lucky enough to have joined a really really great family who have been so loving and accepting of a new daughter. i couldn't ask for a better group of people! and my family loves matt just as much...especially my nieces and nephews.

marriage of great. i love waking up to the person i love most. we're still enjoying that newlywed euphoria :) it's great. he's great. life is great. it's definitely come with its fair share of heartache, anxiety, stress, and many many tears...but looking back over all that's happened this year, i wouldn't change a bit of it. 

i've gone through some really tough things this year, some of the hardest things i've ever experienced, but matt was there the whole time. he's so stable and constant, and dependable. i just love that boy so much.
