happy valentine's day my loves. though in my mind this day should be sunshine and rainbows, it's overcast and snowy here in good'ol utah. not the ideal, but hey, let's run with it.

i made an honest effort to dress festively this morning, but after trying on all two of my red shirts, i wasn't feeling them. red toms it is. festive enough right?
last night i made valentines signed my name on hello kitty valentines and wrapped up candy to go with them. i hadn't planned on doing anything, but we all decided at work that we would bring some valentines. so this morning i passed mine around to the class. i felt like i was in 3rd grade again.

in other news...this time last week i was at disneyland. that's right people, at the ripe age of 27, i finally had my first trip to disneyland.
it was magical, and memorable, and rainy {on friday at least}, and so so much fun. thanks trav and steph {cameron & elizabeth} for the invite, and for letting my have the room with the sweet king sized bed!
3 days went by much too quickly and left me with an ear infection and serious head cold, but it was all worth it. this girl loves some rides! in particular the indiana jones ride and tower of terror.
oh and those beignets were especially delicious...and that much anticipated churro on saturday.
and the sunshine that made a lengthy appearance on saturday was complete bliss. and seeing stephanie flail her arms at every drop while riding screamin at california adventure was priiiiceless. thanks for bein the best S-I-L ever!

once today is over i will be going home to a bag of chocolate {don't think i'm too pathetic yet} and dinner with two of my lovely buddies. as lenny puts it, i am a lady pimp.
