all greek to me...

i hope you all had a lovely weekend because i sure did.

it was my friend, elyssa's 24th birthday, so i drove up to her place in draper and we spent friday doing her hair, making delicious chilli for dinner, and baking scrumptious chocolate cupcakes. we stayed up way too late watching movies and taking pictures of her crazy dog joey.

after sleeping in until 10:30 {yikes} we got ready and drove up to salt lake city and spent the day wandering around doing some shopping and having greek for lunch/dinner. it was delicious! i love greek food. i had a very tasty gyro.

i probably spent more money than i should have but that will just have to be my birthday gift to myself. i did buy 3 new books, which i'm very excited to read- little women, the scarlet pimpernel, and wuthering heights. a new necklace, and a new skirt on clearance for 11 bucks at gap!
