we're almost halfway through november already. i just don't know how time keeps going by so quickly. i don't. but it's ok, because in 2 weeks we'll be in washing, celebrating thanksgiving with my parents and sister, and then celebrating thanksgiving again with my bestie lindsay, and her family, and her new little girl, gemma! {i can't wait to finally meet her!}

i'm sure the next month and a half will fly by as well. thanksgiving is shortly followed by our trip to mexico {!!!}, then christmas and new years.
and then the dark sad wasteland that is the months of january to march. {i don't know about you guys, but there's nothing to really look forward to in those months. they're just cold and kind of miserable.}

we've been keeping busy around these parts with work and doing all the final little small things here and there in our new house. i promise i will post pictures sometime soon. it really feels like home now, which makes me happy, and i can't wait to decorate for christmas!
my 30th was a good one. as much as i really hated waking up at 6am to go run out in the cold, it was fun to round the corner at the finish line and see matt, lisa, dave, and jordan all cheering me on with a huge number 30 balloon and flowers :) the rest of the day was really fun and just the right amount of doing stuff.
the addam's family at the hale was HILARIOUS. so funny. i didn't know what to expect really, but i absolutely loved it. dinner was great too...so delicious. we finished out the night with 1 trick-or-treater visit and cake and ice cream. pretty good indeed!
{the headless horseman was at the starting line}
{finish line with my love, and our cute pumpkins we lit before dinner}
{the addam's family group}
{matt impressed us all with his made cake skills again this year}

That "sad frozen wasteland" of which toy speak contains my birthday. You can look forward to that? :-)
