last weekend was pretty great. two of my loveliest friends got hitched! it made me so happy to see it happen, having acted as their pseudo therapist/listener/baby sitter in the past. wahoo for love!
.
the girl: kara and i became insta-friends last july when we went camping with some other friends over 4th of july weekend. really though. one day we weren't friends...the next day we were. i just love that girl!
the guy: aaron was my home teacher. and a doozy of a home teacher! i'm secretly a little sad about the union, but onlllly because i will have a new home teacher now ;)
here's the beautiful Kara post temple sealing, and the lovely aaron getting in a good photobomb. the sealing was wonderful and sweet and i was so happy i could be there! in the words of the amazing mary lyon..."i love it when my friends marry each other!"
Aaron and his home-teachees. he will be missed!

after the friday festivities, i headed out for goblin valley! i had never been before and was prettttty stoked about it. after wandering all over the park for longer than expected looking for the goblin's lair...miracle of miracles...we found it! {i really thought we wouldn't. the directions had us all over that place!}
hello...it was way cool. you rappel into a giant cavern on the outskirts of the park. you guys, i love rocks, and rock climbing, and rappelling! it's so exciting! but anywho...we found the hole you rappel into, got all our ropes into place {well matt and his brother dave did while we watched} and down we went. the inside was pretty amazing.
harnessing my chi.
if you haven't been to goblin valley, you should go...it's so weird/awesome.
safety first with these sweet helmets. btws...if you go to do the rappel...take a glove.
looking up...see that rope? i came down that.
we lived!

{ps...there is nothing in green river, ut. though the knight's inn is probably the least sketchy out of the motels that are there...if you were wondering.}
