deja vu...

so let's talk about the heat wave that's been going on...pretty much all over the western united states. it was 105* on saturday. so what did we do? we went to lagoon
.
the last time i went to lagoon i think i was 11. i went on my first upside down roller coaster and while i cried, my mom laughed at me. it was great. but besides that, this girl loves roller coasters! big time yo. so we ventured up north to get our theme park on, and had lots'o fun.
did we sweat non-stop for 8 hours? definitely. did we go on rides that soaked us through, only to be stuck walking around in soggy bottom jeans for the remaining time? of course. did we love every second of it {besides the 30 minute window, 2 hours after we got there, where we all wanted to go home because we were so tired}? heck yes.
.
.
in all seriousness, it was a very, very good time. i think the heat kept a lot of people away so the place was kind of empty and we didn't have to wait in lines to get on rides. {my kind of park!} i screamed myself hoarse and laughed my head off watching ellis and travis ride a ride together that squished them so close they were basically sitting in each other's laps. the laughter! i was hysterical. it was great.
and can i just say that 4 is the perfect number. i might have to throw it in there with 7 and 3 and 13 as my most beloved numbers. we all had a buddy, but it wasn't too many people to keep track of. we could go up in one car and not be squished...perfect.
{waiting to get on the carousel - my favorite!}
{the low point of the day. we were all dead tired and this train ride took you on a really depressing tour of some sad looking animals}
{the rocket! so fun, though we had to basically force shelly on, but she was glad we did}
{end of the day}
{o hey photo bombers}
