hate is a strong word...

but really...i hate money. there never seems to be enough of it. and they way things work with how some people get paid millions to do somethings, and others who work just as hard, if now harder, get paid crap. the whole thing just sucks sometimes.

don't even get me started on student loans right now. ugh. that whole thing is a big fat mess and i want to yell at them all, but i can't. so i am having to suck it up and deal with the fact that i am in debt 13000 bucks because my parents "make too much money" and i'm an average, middle class, single, white female, which meant i got nothing but loans with accrued a ton of interest while still in college, which has now been tacked on to my gross total. ugh--i feel as though i will be paying them off for the rest of my life. not good.

on the bright side...or brighter anyways, it is my birthday on sunday {well maybe it's not so bright, i'll be 25, i'm single, working retail, and have no real job options in my chosen field without a masters degree for when i'm done with my internship--but who's complainging right?} and my visiting teacher will be making me dinner which is very nice of her.

i'm forcing myself to think of 10 things that make me happy right now since i'm kind of in a financial funk:

1-the fall weather we've been having

2-being able to wear scarves

3-seeing all the art that's been entered for the museum's spiritual and religious show

4-reading {i'm almost done with wuthering heights!}

5-the thought of going home for christmas

6-my new bangs

7-talking to my nieces on the phone

8-chocolate

9-the delicious smelling candle i have in my room

10-being able to run 2 miles straight this morning
