The other day we were watching a clip from The Sound of Music in my humanities class. Now I know this is probably a shock to everyone...but I had never seen The Sound of Music until this past summer when I was in Austria. The hostel that we stayed at in Salzburg showed it everynight in their lounge. Now I felt it was very appropriate that I watched this movie for the first time in the very city they filmed it.
I loved it! I also LOVED Salzburg--it was such a beautiful city! Here are a few pictures from my time there:
