i have always wanted to be able to speak a foreign language...really i have. but if you ask me, 23 is not the age to do so. or at least be forced to do so. when it comes to speaking in a different tongue, i'm really just not that good at it.
i am pleased to say that i only have three weeks left of spanish. then the semester will be over and i will have fulfilled my required foreign language credits.
if i had had my way...i would be learning italian. i would be more than happy to learn that and to study (the way i should study). but no--BYUI does not offer italian so i went with spanish, which i had taken two years of in high school. but oh well...one day when i am living in italy i will learn it from all the natives and it will be splendid.
