i'm almost finished with the first four weeks of my 12 week training. i will still have 3 or 4 weeks once i'm done with the 12 weeks before the half, so i plan on continuing to up my saturday run by a mile each time. HOPEFULLY i can manage a 13 min run before the big day. woo!

runs this week were a little harder, not because they were literally harder, i just think i was tired. i'm hoping this saturday's run goes better than last.
let me tell you what happened...i could hardly WALK, let alone run. that's what happened.
my lovely co-worker michelle is doing strength training with me, on thursdays, 2 days before saturday, aka my long run. right after our workout thursday i could hardly walk, so i knew it wouldn't be good news for me.
this week should be better than last though...let's keep our fingers crossed.

other than training and work i feel like i don't do too much as of late. i play on the weekends. i'm doing a healthy habits challenge with my SIL steph and some of her family/other friends. so far so good. i've been really good about being disciplined in what i eat. though i'm not going to lie...i'm living for this sunday when i can have a chocolate chip waffle! {what is it with food...really? why does it have such sway over us. uuugh} yum. sunday is my off day...from everything. it will be great.
i figure with all this training and working out, i want to see some result gosh dang-it. also keeping fingers crossed for that too!
