ode to a book...

being a college graduate now and not having to worry about classes, homework, writing papers, etc. i find i have A LOT of free time on my hands. so i am back to reading oh so many books, like i love to do but wasn't able to do while in school.
lately i have been wanting to read the classics. all of them. all those books that i never read in high school {even though we were supposed to}. if someone tells me to read a book it's almost guarenteed that i won't, at least not for a long time. i have to read them because i want to. so here i am. they have a sale on the classics at barnes and noble right now, buy 2 get the 3rd free, and i think i am going to buy me some books.
since getting here to utah i've only read three, persuasion, pride and prejudice, and mockingjay. i bought walden over the summer and i'm working on that now, but it's kind of slow going. not one of those books that really swallows you up and you can't put down, but i like it. there's a lot of interesting stuff in there and things are pretty much the same today.
i am also missing my book arts class. it's been a while since i've made a book and i can't wait to get home for christmas and make a bunch more!
i love books, reading them, making them, buying them. i love it all.

{if anyone has any book suggestions feel free to share}

Apparently people say these "Harry Potter" books are pretty good. I dunno...

The Long Walk by Slavomir Rawicz. It's a really good one and it's a true story.
