sickness...

I'm sick...not fun right? we went to my sister's (erin) for christmas to spend it with her and her family and they were all sick, so it was bound to happen when you are shut up in an apartment with them. but regardless i had a good time and i enjoyed getting to see them and spend time with my adorable niece and nephew. i spent my day being the slob that i felt like, with a throat so swollen i could hardly swallow. it has now traveled from my throat to my sinuses and ears but i don't feel too terrible. {knock on wood!} though i didn't get out of my pajamas, do my hair, or my make-up at all today, i was fairly productive. seeing as how i graduate this april, i've been meaning to get my applications in for internships.

i submitted an application to this wondeful institution today! the metropolitan museum of art...how i love this museum. i'm sure my chances are slim...there are 20 open positions, but let's face it, i'm a middle class white female.

but we can still hope...

i also gathered all my information for this museum: the guggenheim museum in new york city. it is all tucked away in the envelope and ready to be mailed off tomorrow.

tomorrow is new years eve and there isn't too much planned. not for me anyways. i'm home with my parents in puyallup and i don't have any friends here, so the night will probably be spent watching a movie and falling asleep on the couch.
